Infinity by the XX is one of my favourite songs, but my favourite part of the song is towards the end. A guitar is playing a slow arpeggio like loop. I like this part because it is the only part that plays the classic XX style guitar on its own. Unfortunately it does not last long. In the remix I had to cut part of the loop and repeat it in order to make it 4 bars long.  I have recently enjoyed using the Indian Instrument Tabla in my songs so I used again in this remix. The most difficult task was EQing the original song to get just the vocals. Unfortunately there was no apace available and no instrumental version to do phase cancelation. This remix is another case of writer’s block. I am not too sure how to continue this song.
